Our Appletree Cottage is ideal for the smaller child, who will love this single storey playhouse complete with joiner made windows with shutters and a FREE built in 2' verandah. The Appletree would make a charming feature in any garden.
This fantastic playhouse is constructed with our superior 16mm Log Lap T&G cladding. The floor and roof is fully T&G . Beware of cheaper imitations where suppliers cut cost and use Cheap OSB Board in their floor & Roofs. The Playhouse also features joiner made windows and attractive black antique hinges. The windows are glazed with perspex for safety and the roof is protected with a strong 40kg Green Mineral Felt. The playhouse is available in two sizes.
To protect your playhouse this product comes treated in a red cedar base treatment as standard, alternatively, to keep your playhouse in top condition you can choose our optional Tanalised (pressure treatment) as pictured. Once the playhouse is pressure treated, very little mainatance if any is needed to preserve the life of the building, however we do recommend a water repellant is applied once the building is fitted. If you choose the standard red cedar base treatment we recommend you treat your playhouse once it is fitted and annually thereon with a good quality wood preservative.
